Compulsory Employer Accreditation – what it means for work visas:
What it means for work visas:
In July 2021 the government will be introducing compulsory Employer Accreditation for employers who want to support a work visa application, and removing six categories of employer-supported temporary work visa.
The six categories will be replaced by one single employer-supported temporary work visa, but there will be many variables depending on how many migrant workers you employ each year, and what industry you are in.
These changes are making staff nervous, and they are already looking for employers who are prepared for the changes and will be able to offer them security.
How we support you & your staff through the process:
Provide you with an overview of upcoming rule changes and what you need to prepare for Employer Accreditation, or provide a holistic HR and immigration advice service prepare th business and make the Employer Accreditation application on your behalf.
Assist individual staff by making applications for temporary work visas and residence applications on their behalf.
Support your staff to understand the options for their dependent family members, which is super important in the current ‘closed border’ environment. We’ll make dependent visa applications on their behalf - including a Partnership Visitor Visa, Partnership Work Visa, Student Visa and Dependent Child Visitor Visa – as required. Successful family settlement is a key factor in employee retention, and this should not be overlooked.
As a bonus, we have multilingual staff, which makes the immigration process much easier for employees and their families to understand.
